There was an article the other day on Yahoo regarding the H1-B cap to take effect on Oct.1. When reviewing the message board accompanying the article, I came across a thread from a BCIS worker. I found the discussion somewhat interesting (and disturbing). While the article is H1-B related, the topic quickly turned to general immigration. Here is the link to that thread.
