I got my GC aproved on june 28, and PP stamping is done on july 7th in DETRIOT but GC proceessed from CSC. Today I got the mails from USCIS saying that "On September 27, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready." what does it mean and after this message..when can i expect my cards.. bcoz i am traveling to india on october 17 th..can i expect by that time?

After a couple of days your message will again change to "card mailed...". You can expect you card with in 4-10 business days after the message changed to "card mailed...". Since you said, you have already completed stamping on your passport. I believe thats not going to hold you going to India. You can travel with your passport stamping which SHOULD BE GOOD.
Ofcourse, you may want to take of ur mails by putting them on HOLD or may be ask your friends to collect ur mails.
