I did my FP long time back in July 2004. I have a 5/1/04 ND of 485 (I-140 is already approved). Current online status says "FP were collected on July 23, 2004 and are pending review".

The question that I have for the experts is - this review is pending my FBI or NSC? Did someone else receive this type of message?

In my opinion don't worry too much about the message. In our case too we had the same message and it never got updated until the day of approval of our I485 applications, which was after more than a year. I guess they sometimes update the online case status, but many times they don't.

Instead of focusing on the online status, we called up FBI to confirm that our FP were cleared by them and sent to USCIS. Additionally, we sent an email to FBI to confirm our name check clearance (you will find the email address and the details of what to write in that email somewhere on this forum). FBI responded to our email after about 3 months.

Thanks for your input. I guess the Moral of the story is just wait for approval whenever that happens.

Kashish, It will be really great if you share the information you used to contact FBI.
