H1B 8th Year and Company is Merging

Hello,

My 8th year H1 extension is approved from current employer. Labor is pending for approval since 2001. My company is merging with anoter company. My questions are:

1) If I am offered Job under new company will my labor get automatically transferred under new company?
2) What will happen to current H1 status? Will I be able to continue to work for new company under current H1 papers?
3) Does new company have to do some paper works for me to get my H1 transferred?
