Why are there high tides (All Science)
Because of gravitational theory we high and low tides in the sea
Human body also has water inside it, Check on Full Moon, ones emotions run high, This is all SCIENCE.
Of Course our action in life definitely does not and should not depend on this, I Agree 100 %.......
All this i do not know how true is it, but hey this is just part of discussion

Human beings like to think that they can be in control of the events, and it is good to think so. Otherwise life would be very difficult to lead.
However since we do not have all the answers, we create beliefs.
Imagine what people thought about the moon before people went to moon.
Humans have created life also by cloning.
I do believe in planetery positions in some cases and can give a simple example also mentioned by GCLessJob:- Human beings are primarily made of water.We know that moon can cause tides due to gravitation. Similarly it can cause chemical imbalances in us too, as we are primarily made of water too.
However this is a big theological discussion, that is beyond my scope and understanding. I believe in god because it gives me a moment of peace.

I still ponder over the question if there is God or not. If there is one, human will certainly discover that too. But if there is no scientific/rational explanation to any belief, I will have my doubts. I feel it is silly when Indian marriages, Gruha Pravesam and other important things are fixed by looking at astrology.

simple as that...if BCIS starts approving a lot of cases as per the predictions, there would be a scientific reason for that. Religious worker pending cases gone, more hours to work on other cases, more cases being touched. But if they still don't, would you stop beleiving all this astrology crap ???
