Forgive me that I am stirring some fire up.

dsatish has pointed out our NSC members have been insensitive and lagging behind taking action against USCIS. See his post on this thread

I don't want to get perosnal, but I think we shall show some of our strength now. Let's join in the fight, express our opinion. Make donation to immigratonportal.org, and make sure you say you are from NSC!

NSC memo has showed that most of us will be strongly impacted by the new procedures. We better protect our own inetrest, NOW!

Let's post your suggestions and opionions about the new memo.

my suggestion is:

before getting paniced and taking this too far, we should ask USCIS to send out a clarification to their memo. At the same time we can ask AILA to request the same from USCIS.

i personally don't support emotional and immature reactions. Lets make sure we understand what the problem is before we start a new petition or bombarding congress or senate with letters and phone calls.

That is right, as I said in the another thread, we need make informed decision. Anyone like to hear input from Rajiv, PM Edision to get phone number for tomorrow phone conference.

Maybe I am a little emotional, becuase at this point I donnot think USCIS will "send" memo to explain spontaneously. The first memo is probably a result of the lawsuit- April 30 is the date they has to response to the court.

As I said in the first sentence, I am stirring fire to warm up NSC. welcome more input.
