There are a few things you can do to verify your medical were received by the Visa post.
You inquire from the doctor who sent the medicals how he sent them, if by courier, ask for consignment number and track it down you may have to visit the courier company or just call them.
If by ordinary mail, it will not be possible to track it unless it was registered.
You may request CAIPS report from CIC Ottawa, it will indicate whether medical has been received or not.
