Medicals

Hi to all the gurus out there, I am relatively new to the forum. I have a question on the validity of medicals. I know FP is valid for 15 months and if you do not get your 485 approved (which definitely is going to be the case for me going by current time frames) you will have to get your FP done again. Is there anything like that for medicals that if your 485 is not approved within 15-18 months or something like that, you have to redo your medical examinations?

Now-a-days nobody mentions anything regarding medicals being expired. So dont worry.

History:
In the present days the priority dates for I-485 are current, so the validity of medical examination is never talked about. Previously after I-140 approval, people used to wait for their priority date to become current so as to submit I-485 application. In such conditions, it was true that medical examination should always be within the last ONE year of submitting I-485 application.
If you have not followed what I was trying to mention contact somebody who applied for I-485 in 1999-2000
