Hi All,

Me and my wife got immigrant Visas and papers. We have to land by Mid Dec , 2003 the same day my medical expires.

My wife's medicals expire in March 2004 but her Visa is only till mid Dec. She cannot land this month because of some injuries.

Will she be able to extend her Visa and land by March?
I am planning to land in a Week or so.

Please help.

What happens if I land and family does'nt by Visa Expiry Date ?

It is possible that the primary applicant can land first. It the family does not follow by the Visa Expiry Date, will they kick you out ??

Any help on this would be great before I venture north.

My 2 cents

All landings must MUST happen before the date visa expires.. if not the application process and (including all medical exams) will have to be repeated ... I went through this back in Spetember 2001 and repeated the process and got my PR cards in April 2002 ...

----------- YES

-------- If the family does not land before visa expiry date, they will not be allowed into Canada, you have to sponsor them again from Canada and will take about 1 year, for sponsorship you have to LIVE IN Canada and earn IN Canada and meet minimum Canada earned income (LICO). If possible your wife/family should land in Canada before visa expiry date and if they don’t land your wife will NOT get Visitor visa because husband being IN Canada as Canada PR will show immigration intent.
