Medical Valid for How Long?

Hi Guys,

Did my medical in the first week of July 2001
RD is 07/2001
ND is 09/2001

Interview date is set for 10/21/2002 (local office)
The interview notice says bring Medical Results.

My questions are: Should I take a new medical now? And how long is the medical valid for?

Lawyer says "don't take a new medical" But I am not so sure

Anyone out there knows the answer please enlighten us. I took my physical exam two years ago. INS only requested me to redo finger print and I did it last month. Shall I expect another RFE to redo physical exam?

I think you don't need to do it as IIO told me that medical exame is good for forever because the purpose is different. In case of FP the purpose is different. So it valid for 15 months only. My fp also expired and I am waiting for decision after RFE ( Received by INS ON 11-JUN-02).

I am sure I am going to do that FP again once I will get the FP notice.
