My doctor told me that I have Inactive TB. He has given me the medical clearance to me but has suggested that I do all the lung tests and go for treatment. Has this happened to anyone before. If yes please share ur experience.i hope the insurance covers for all this ......

Normally first they do skin test. If that comes positive they do chest x-ray. If that comes clean, then you are clear for USCIS medical requirement (and the doctor is supposed to provide you the medical certificate). Now whether you want to go through full treatment that's your decision and that is not related to your AOS application. So what you can do is that don't say any firm "YES" or "NO" to the doctor who is examining you. Get the medical report and submit to USCIS. If this doctor (who did USCIS medical report) is not your regular doctor, then discuss the matter with your regular doctor.
