Medical RFE- Gurus please Help

My wife has received a RFE for TB test. She did her 485 medical in California last year. Now we are in Portland. Does she need to go to California for the medical now or can she go to a immigration doctor in Portland?

Also, If she can go to a doctor in Portland then does she need to do the whole medical again or can she just do the RFE specified TB test only?

If they are looking for TB only, you can do this with the local INS doctor and mention to him that the RFE is for only TB and not for the rest. But since they are going to charge the complete cost anyway and if you have your vaccination report you can ask the new doctor to fill up the main and supplemental form and resubmit the whole package to INS to be on the safe side. Thats what I did. There is no guarantee they will approve the application as they may transfer the case to local as they did in my case.
