Medical Question !!!

Hi,
I turned out -ve for the TB test, but my wife turned out +ve, and she had her x-ray done today. We are yet to get the results.

However, can we still go to the physician for the regular checkup, before we get the x-ray results. If the results turn out to be +ve, do we have to delay the filing of 485. Please do advise.

given and you can apply for 485

I wanted to ask if it is true that one should not do medical in the begining of I-485 process as the 6 mo medical validity would lapse by the time your case is processed. In such case one has to again complete the medical. I have recently heard that while filing for I-485 one should NOT do/send in the medical and rather wait till INS itself asks for that and then do a medical so it is within 6mo period. How true is that?? Does that mean i lost several 100 dollars since i did medical and send in the forms along with I-485 petition?.
