Medical Laboratory Technologist

Greetings everyone.

I am Canadian, working as Medical Laboratory Technologist in Canada. I have been offered a position in US as Medical Laboratory Technologist and the employer is interested in hiring me as TN (3 years).

The NAFTA job description says "Medical Laboratory Technologist (Canada)/Medical Technologist (Mexico and the United States) Baccalaureate or Licenciatura Degree; or post secondary diploma or post secondary certificate, and three years experience"

I am really confused about what should be the job description in the employment letter. Should it say Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Technologist?

Any insight is really appreciated. Does it really matter. I really don't want my application denied because of not spelling out the job description properly.

Thanks

I am a Canadian medical technologist as well. You would want to apply for a Medical Technologist position as the terms are different here in the US than they are in Canada. Do you have 3 years experience after you CSMLS exam?
