Depending on your (and your family's) general health, I would suggest that you buy HSA (Health Savings Account) eligible insurance with high deductible $2K, $5K and $10K. $5K deductible is a good choice though I recently bought $10K deductible insurance for $125 per month for a family of three.
I went with Blue Shield Blue Cross's HMO plan but another quote I had received was from Golden Rule. My feeling is that BSBC are now offereing better rates as they have a direct sales channel. This is their 800 number: 800-368-5031
The reason I went with them was that I got their postcard in mail and the rates seemed very attractive. Talk to them directly or through the insurance agent. FYI BSBC do not issue the insurance w/o plastic green card. Good luck.
