medical for GC

Hi Guys,

One of my friends told me that there is no need to do medical examination for GC. I called USCIS today and a guy told me that we need to do so and i called my friend he so sure about it. He also said that USCIS relese that news on Dec 14, 2009. Have you guys heard about it. Please tell me if there is such news.

you still need to do the medical exam, they only removed the HIV test. you can find a USCIS civil surgeon here

just to add to what Raziel said, you still have to do the medical exam but they have altered the tests that you need to do and the vaccinations as well. i think the Dec 14, that you mention has to do with the HPV vaccine being removed from the lis of things the Civil surgeon would check for.
