Medical Examination

My Lawyer is telling me that Medical Examination is not necessary while filing for I485. He says INS will let us know when its time for it "Six months before the interview".

Friends I need to confirm this with you all. Is it a good Idea? I have heard many people getting Medical Examination done before filing I485.

You should fire yor lawer immediately, it sounds like he is completely incompetent.

You must submit a medical examination form I-693 together with your I-485 application. Check the rules at the official INS site

If you fail to submit the mediacl exam form your application may be either denied immediately or at leasr very substantially delayed.

That is Finger Prints which should not be taken before 6 months of APproval of 485

Can I do fingure printing after EAD has arrived? Or shall I wait for INS to tell me?
