Medical examination

Guys,
I need your feedback on this. My attorney told me that we can go ahead and
send out the 485 application without the Medical examination, and wait for INS to inform us to get a medical exam because
in event INS does not act on my case within 6months, any medical exam
done prior to filing 485 is invalid and has to be re-done!
What are your experiences/advice?
Any assistance will be appreciated.

You should send in your medical reports with your application.If you do not you will get an RFE later on leading to delays in approval. I think your lawyer is mistaken. The medical reports should be dated not later than a year (or maybe 15 months) from the date you submit your I485 application.

I don\'t think this is true. Most of the approvals of ND:10/99 submitted their medical with I-485.
