Medical Examination for Consular Processing

I have submitted Immigrant Visa application for my parents under Consular Processing from New Delhi.

I have a question regarding the medical exam...

According to NVC website, they have to undergo medical exam thru designated physicians at least a week before the interview. Since my parents live far from Delhi, does the INS expect them to travel to Delhi for medical exam or can this be done in some other city?

They can do their medical in the same city as where they are supposed to have their interview, if it's Delhi then they are gonna have to go for the interview anyway, just go few days before and get it done.
 
I don't think the medical has to be in the same city. It just has to be in the same country as the interview. Contact the consulate in Delhi and ask them to be sure.
 
here is what i figured... every consulate has designated doctors on panel. The medical exam has to happen only thru one of those designated doctors.
