Hi Everybody,
I have a peculiar situation. I took Medical examination during the month of october 2002 when i was with previous employer A. At that time I did not file for I140 and later the Emplyer declared Bankrupcy and we did not go further

I joined with another employer B and got my labour approved today(from scratch) and my attorney says she can file concurrently by Ist week of August. Will my old Medical Examination is valid since everywhere it says that it will be valid till 1 yr. I have a question here is that 1 yr is valid at the time i submit my 485/I140 .

I think i dont have to spend again $500 again for the doctor. Am i right here or i should not take any risk. Gurus can you reply to this

Just curious, why did you take medical examination when you did not have even I-140 filed?
The 1 year validity is from the date of medical examination. So you have 1 year from that time to file 485.

Medical examination is valid for one year from the date of examination.

BTW, Why did you spend $500 for medical examination, it costs only around $100.
