Medical Exam(s)

Hi, similar situation to all of you...

I had a question regarding the Medical exam(s) though...

I just took my wife to get hers today and the Dr. was only an MD, not a psychologist/psychiatrist... do I need to make a visit to both an MD and a Pyschiatrist? We got the immunization and blood tests done, but it didn't appear they did any [extensive] mental evaluation in my opinion anyways.

Just wondering if anyone who has already been through this can help me out so I can avoid any costly mistakes and/or delays. Thanks!

[edit]... actually - I had a 2nd question to this... do I need to complete the form G-325A (my wife has already done so), which I have done, but will I also need to send in the medical exam being that I am and have always been a US Citizen since my birth in california? Thanks again!

there is no mental evaluation involved in immigration medical exam.

I hope you went to the designated civil surgeon from USCIS site, and not just some regular doctor.

Yes, got the MD's info from the USCIS website and they are a USCIS Civil Surgeon and also stated so themselves. lol. Thanks for that answer, that helps me out immensely.... now for the 2nd part...

Do I, being a US Citizen from birth, need to get this exam as well? I wouldn't see why... but I just want to cover all bases. Thanks again!
