I will have a medical exam next week. But I just found that I don't have vaccination for Hepatitis B. As far as I know, Hepatitis B requires at least three shots with long intervals between shots. Does that mean I have to wait a long time until the three shots are finished, then they can sign my medical form? Those people who have similar situation please reply. Thanks. By the way, do they make a copy of your vaccination record and include it in the sealed envelope?(b/c I do not have official vaccination record). Thank you very much for your help.

I know they test you for Hep B, but I wasn't aware you need to show you've been vaccinated against it. I never have, my blood test for it came back neg. and we were approved. I don't know what the Dr. actually filled in on the forms because they were sealed.

Heb B dosent require vaccinations. Blood tests should detetmine +ve or -ve.

sealed envelope only contains I-693 form signed by doctor with
results of ur tests.

Could someone in my situation or similar please reply:
I am 46 years old and have no record of any vaccinations.
How many vaccinacions do I have to take and how long does it take for the entire process? I am in the Bay area; if you have a good/decently priced doctor pls. include that, too.

Thanks in advance and I really appreciate your help.

I had my I-693 physical last week was $170.00 (southern California)
I brought in proof of all vaccines but for some odd reason my records only stated one mmr therefore I had to receive another MMR vaccine ($40.00)
I had the hep B vaccine and the doc didn't even document it on the I-693 supplemental form(he gave me a photocopy of what he put in envelope) There is a chart he provided me with the explains the required shots for each age group by ins. The hep B is only required if you are under 18. For my age group (18-64) The chart states"Requirements for routine vaccinations of adjustment of status of applicants examined in U.S who are not fully vaccinated or have no documentation". I only needed to have MMR and tetanus up to date. I also had TB skin test and the blood work. When you go for your visit you can ask for a copy of the chart/Table1-vaccine requiremnets.
Good luck!

Signed the wrong form

Hi all..I agree with Cateach and that's what I did. The stupidity I did and doctor did not catch::
I signed my wife's I-693 form and my Wife signed my I-693 form by mistake, and were mailed to INS in sealed envelop along with I-485 last year. I realized it yesterday only when I requested a copy from the doctor's office.

Am I going to be in problem? What INS may do?

My wife has no vacination record either. When they do your blood test, they will determine what shots you need.

Several of the vaccinations won't apply because of your age, same as in the case of my wife. She got a tetnus shot, and got the skin TS test. Went back 3 days later to pick up the letter and was told everything was AOK.

Good luck.
