Hello,

I was wondering if my mother who just arrived to the states(derivative asylee) qualified for any sort of Medical assistance as she doesn't have any insurance.

I don't know what state you are in. Your mother could be eligible for State Medicaid.

You need to get a hold of the State Refugee Coordinator office and check with them what is available in your State.
