Medicaid and Medicare

Hi,

My uncle and aunt (uncle in his late sixties and aunt in late fifties) came to America in 2005 entering as LPR filed by my aunts brother (sibling who is a citizen). For their affidavit of support it was my brother who was co-signer. I persume that my uncle and aunt plan to remain in America and apply for their N400 and obtain citizenship and file for their children (among whom 2 are married and 1 is unmarried). I believe their aim is to get their kids to America. I think they secured medicaid or medicare and use that to see the doctors at the clinic at the city hospitals. Reading posts on this forum it strikes me that LPR s are not supposed to make use of medicaid/medicare. (NOT SUPPOSED TO OR CANNOT COLLECT MEDICAID/MEDICARE). These guys are planning to apply N400 next year completeing 4 years and 9 months stay in America (head start of 90 days, they have met 30+ months physical presence and 5 years continous residence, mandated by law by then)

I have 3 questions :-

1) will they have issues in getting N400 approved and becoming naturlized (because of making use of medicare/medicaid)

2) will the person who provided the affidavit of support have any problem '(the primary person)

3) will my brother have any issues as he is the co-signer for their affidavit of support as the (primary person's was not enough)

please advice

thanking you all in avance

Medicare, which is based on Social security, can be had by LPRs if theotherwise qualify (like thru marriage).

Medicaide is forbidden for first 5 years on LPR.
