my long pending NIW finally got approved. I had filed it in april 98. subsequently got denied under NYSDOT. appealed to AAO. meanwhile congress passed the new rule re: physician NIWs. AAO sent the case back to nebraska for approval under the new law. Nebraska sent a request for evidence according to the new reqirements. Since my case was eligible under the 3 year requirement i sent a contract from employer for approx 3.5 years. Also sent in a new letter from State dept of health stating that my work is in "public interest". got the approval notice today.
