Hello reval_wait ,
yes, I did yesterday. The lady was courteous but didnt give any info as to when the "process" would finish and when would they ship my PP. She did mention that the h1-reval process might take from 12-16 weeks. I still have a couple more weeks before I can start panicking :)

Update for my H1 Revalidation:

SL RD May 19, DC RD May 27, Status "Printed" on Sept 10. Should get it in the next few days.

FINALLY, after 16-17 weeks!!!

Phone number required for enquiry about stamping

Hello,,, I send my passport and other documents for stamping begining of May,,, i did not receive passport with valid stamping still. can anyone help me the contact phone number ,, that i can enquire about the status of stamping.

Pan1975, Sam2k2000, unfortunately there is no way to track the 'progress' of your revalidation application. I guess some are lucky to be on the top of the pile while some aren't.

The best you can do is to periodically keep calling the Washington D.C. Visa office number someone mentioned here and see if you are "being processed".

gk_raj: Nope. The visa officers are couteous but not very open to giving information about the procedure :)

One of my friends application was rejected after 90 days becuase his photo had a red background .
From some of the other posts that I have seen , the application is rejected approximately after 90 days
So , just baecause someone has not recieved the application after 2 or 3 weeks may not mean that they will get the Visa stamped .

Good luck to you and everyone still waiting foe their Visa .

Thanks for the DC phone number, i spoke to them last week and came to know that my visa stamped on Aug 28th. But still did not receive the passport and other documents,, i frequently checking the FedEx tracking number, so far it is not scanned. Planning to call again this week. The lady spoke to me in the DC office mentioned that, it may take few weeks for geting passport and other documents after stamping because of the high volume. Thanks for the response from all, hope you all get good news shortly .
