My SL RD is 6th May. I have booked my tickets for India on 7th Aug. Looks like it is going to be very close.

Find out the DC recd Date

Dear Friends,

Today I called the DC office to check the DC recd date for my appilcation. All the applications are passing from St.Louis to DC.
So the St.Louis recd date and DC recd date are different.

DC office is processing based on their recd date. so if we find out our DC recd date we can easily follow up.

If there is no urgency for you, Leave it you will get any how.

Find DC recd date, Please call 202-663-1225 press 1 and 0
wait more than 30 min.

they will ask your lastname, date of birth, passport number
then you will get your DC recd date.

Now that the March cases have been processed, is it possible that the validation will be a bit faster? I guess it is just wishful thinking. What do u guys say?
 
Today status in DC - Processing April 14

I spoke to the visa specialist in DC today.
she told me that they are procesing April 14 today.

My SL RD date is May 8th. Any idea what are the chances I will get my passports by July 30th?

Its very difficult to get the visa on this month end JUly 30 th.
You will get next month Aug only.

Processing end of April

Hi
I had called up St. Louis today and the visa specialist told me that they are processing end of April DC receive date. My DC receive date is May 12th. She said that I might get it in 2-3 weeks. Thats cutting it awfully close as my tickets are booked for 7th August.
She was unwilling to give any pther info.

called visa office today...
she is not ready to tell me any DC receive date or etc..
she just said it would take about 4 months to receive visa and all other information is irrelevant....
