I am so sorry because i am in vecation and i am also waiting for the pp to come and my wife got delivered the baby boy and i ve not came to discustion for last 25 days and today only i saw all your replies and happenings. Literally i don't find time to call dc office. I will update as on recieving the pp. kindly bare with me...

b) If you have your fedex tracking # you could do
what stottem did and try to trace your PP.

passport status..

all,

got the passport yesterday with no stamp...:( . At least there is
good new.. My passport has a valid stamp from the previous employer that expires in march 2004, thus, immigration officer
enclosed a letter with the immigration letterhead stating
that i do not need a visa stamp and i only need to apply
60 days before the existing visa stamp expires. for traveling
purpose i could use the old visa stamp with the new approved
h1b petition..

for now i am okay.. but hope the wait will be under 12 weeks next time when i apply in feb.04

A piece of advice for free .. When you do need revalidation go
to Canada or something 60 days ahead of time .. at least you
would not have to wait for 3 months ..

to buffalow this week for pr stamping) i will pass your advice to him..

Planning to call

No update so far..i am planning to call on monday..called last monday and she told me that it will take more than 2 weeks :(.

Worker-bee- Are you planning to call the DC office ?
Yadav1- If get time, check with your fedex tracking number / call DC office..
 
I sent my passport for h1b revalidation on Aug 18th. i hope this is the SC date. what is DC date?

Its not there

I checked the fedex # and its not there..They says it is 10-12 weeks from DC date..so i may get it next week..cant trust these people..

Guys,

FedEx just delivered my passport with the stamped visa. Details:

SL RD May 21, 2003
DC RD May 28, 2003
Visa stamped Date: Aug 21, 2003
PP Received: Aug 22, 2003

Looks like FedEx picked it up from DC ~ 7 pm last evening.
