Electronic Forms/ Bar Codes SPEED THINGS UP!!

St. Louis received my pp on may 21, 2004. I got PP approved today!! I believe it was fast because I filled up the form electronically and sent the bar-coded hard copy to them (as is required).

BTW, for anybody with doubts about which address to put (whether applying in India or in US), if you are living in the US then you are a NRI! So your home address will always be the US address, no matter where you go.

Is your photo clear enough or is it Dim and faint, blurred and Dark.

I just talked with the immigration specialist of my company, and she advised me to put my US address in item space 15.

Middle name not printed in the revalidated H1 Visa stamp

I just received my passport with Visa stamped. All the information is correct
except under given name, in this revalidated visa middle name is not printed.
Is it a problem?Do I need to send it to DC for correction
When I filled the form I had filled in all information as is in the passport.
My all previous visas have first name and middle name printed complete under Given name except this new stamp.
Please let me know if anybody has this experience before or now in the revalidated visa
I will be going to India in another 3 weeks.

Both of our Passports were stamped and received today. (H1, H4)

They did put a "Cancelled without Prejudice" stamp on my old H1 visa stamp, is this a standard procedure since I got a new stamp? Same is true for my wife's old H4.

It's not as clear as in the previous stamps but its still identifiable, I am not worried about it.

They need to have better technology if they want the pictures to be sharper and cleaner. There is no way anyone can blame you for that, if some technician on their end messed up, that is what I believe, I would not worry too much about it.

I have send my h1/h4 papers for stamping on 5/19/2004 and received it on 6/30/2004. Everything is fine on mine. But on my wife's "annotation" column they have misspelled "one" character of my name. Instead of "X" they have entered "Z". Otherwise all other links to my employer name, my LIN no are fine. Should I need to resend it for correction? Please advise.

Got Passports Today!!!!!

I have sent my h1/h4 papers for stamping on 5/10/2004 and received it on 7/01/2004. Everything is fine on mine. Photos also very clear ..
So Guys dont worry .Your too will come very soon ..
I can understand the furstration of waiting ..
But we have to ..What to do .

I received my PP (h1 +h4) back with stamp.

Actually me SL receive date is 3rd June. Initially the SL receive date was 24th May but they returned it back by mistake. So I had to send it back.
