I sent my H1 for revalidation on May 3rd, 2004.

Can we start a similar list as the other months...

My reval tracker

I sent mine on April 28th, package was rcvd at st. louis on 29th, so far money orders haven't been cashed, from what I remember they cashed the money orders right after they recieved last time.

How do I know when they were sent to DC ?

DS156 + Mail question

When we send by FedEx , the address mentioned for courier has a Box number. I hope this is not PO Box and FedEx delivers to this . Of Course if has to looking at other forums.

Also DS156 questions

it asks Have u ever been to US. For how long
I came on F1 , then did H1 . Should it be most recent or the first date. Aslo the period of stay should be from first or since the most recent.

The same goes for the next question asking abt Visa.
 
Money orders cashed

Date posted : April 28th, they rcvd it on 29th, money orders are cashed on 7th May, I don't know if this means it is sent to D.C ?

question - urgent

i am plannin gon withdrawing my appl for revalidation because i need the original passport for my drivers license renewal. if i resubmitted, do i have to pay the $100 fee again?

any similar experiences?

Hi all,
Can one revalidate visas from the state department twice. I had revalidated a visa a couple of years ago; I received my extension now can I revalidate it again ? Has anyone done revalidation twice.

Yes ! you can revalidate .As long as your documentation is good though

Sent on May 17 to St. Louis. Should reach there by tomorrow.

Looks like not many people have applied this month.
 
Updated my info. I have sent very close to one year expiry . Its just 2 weeks remaining. Lets hope they still accept it.

H1 Revalidation

Hi

I am planning to send my passport for visa revalidation. I have a question about the documents that we have to send. Which I-94 do we need to send, the one which is attached to the H1 approval notice or the one in my passport that I got when I last entered US? Also should I send original H1 or copy?

you need to send both I-94s, the one which camealong with the extension approval notice and the one in the passport
its better if you send the original H1 Extension notice.

You can send photocopy of I797 as it is mentioned on their website. Also on past forums I have read somewhere that people have got it successfully with copy of I797.

Abt I94, I sent orig of comp A (white card of last entry) , orig of my h1 transfer to comp B AND now copy of new I797(with I94 attached) for extension with comp B. So I sent it 2 orig and 1 copy.
 
Problem with Form I-797, Please do advise

Hi,

Recently I received approval for my 7th Year extension. I am planning to revalidate my visa from St. Louis.

There is small problem on the Form: I-797. At the bottom of approval notice where they provide new I-94 card, somehow I-94 # is missing from both side (bottom left and right portion) of approval notice.

I spoke to my attorney on this issue and she advised me not to worry about it. She said

“This is a small glitch on their system but they have you properly documented, and the petition which we filed is also have you properly documented. Therefore it is unnecessary to re-apply requesting any correction.”

She also advised me to continue with my plan with revalidation.

Guys please advised me what I am supposed to do. In case if someone already had this issue.

Waiting for your advice.
