May Processing stats released

It's bad month

The pending I-185 cases increase by 63429, from 1174011 to 1237540.

The pending I-485 cases once again reach its 5-month high. It is frustrating.

Is USCIS really taking action to reduce backlog? Personally I dont feel it strongly. I feel more like they are playing games rather than tackling issues.

INS has around 10,000 employees, from the statistic data showed here, 1 person processed only 0.1 cases in a month, what are they doing? It seems they are playing and get paid.

Rsur, your table is wrong.

In the last row, you put numbers in wrong colume. Please check, you may need to swap 1340 with 66209.

Fact:
In the month of may, they process cases: 1174011+64869-1237540=1340;
The total increase of pending cases: 1237540-1174011=63429.

It looks like reducing backlog is only on paper but not in action. For a second month in sequence, the number of approved cases has been reduced in comparison to March 2004. If the current number of initial receipts match the number of approved cases... How will the backlog disappear??
Should use "abrakadabra"

You are right

The numbers seem to be screwed up for this month. How could the pending increase and adjudications decrease to such an extent? We will never know the strange workings of this organization.

all we can do is to pray

If you watch Farenheit 9/11, you will know what kind attitude Mr. President holds towards work. Before 9/11, he spent more than 40% of his time on vacation. After knowing that, I bet you wont be surprised how his government works and what kind efficency they inherit from their leader.

A while ago, they still had excuse of blaming the insufficient budget. Now the processing fee has been increased, but have they improved their wrok efficiency?

Time to pray for a hardworking president and government.

thanks for words

Thank for reminding me of the current ones. :)

May God bless everyone, definitely including you, me and everyone else on this board.

Scam

This is the Biggest Scam of all Scams And we cannot do anything about it.
just think about it Where is $$$$ going.

Avg Daily revenue for filing I-485( assuming they also apply for, EAD,AP,FP fees)= 57478*(315+175+165+70) = $41,671,550.00 thats roughly 40 Million a day. may be Im wrong. give me some thoughts here.. :(
