Was your I-140 approved for CP or AOS?
You can see this on the I-140 approval notice "..your petition has been sent to NVC..." if it was approved for CP.

INS works on 04/15/2001

RD:04/27/01 ND:07/12/01
spoke to a very nice IIO just at Feb 25 2002.
She said everything is OK with my case,
but it is not assigned to an officer yet.
She asked me to wait for 30 days and call back.

She also said they are processing cases before 04/15.

So waiting continues ...
