I have a friend got his I-485 approved on April 2001 without doing FP "he said" .... also, he recieved FP notice on July 2001 " they request FP & it said please ignore this notice if your case has been approved"

PLEASE I NEED EXPLANATION " NO KIDDING "

May be he has applied for EAD and got approved....He might not know the difference between 485 & EAD (Possible..not kidding!)...check with him once again.....

Why to worry about your friend?
If it is approved without FPs, it is his headache. They will cancel his approval at a latr date and ask him to do FPs again.
He is trying to make fun of you.
