Hello Friends:

My RD is 5/21/2001 and waiting for approval. My EAd will expire in August 10. When I should apply for EAD renewal ? how long it takes to get the EAD renewal ?

I would get it soon

as if you get your approval you lose only $100. If you local INS allows you to get one, it could be very quick, if you have to send it NSC, you are at their mercy
 
where to get Signature card for EAD renewal ?

Hello Friends:

I down loaded the form from INS web site for EAD renewal. However, I don\'t see the Signature card to send along with application.

I asked my previous attorney to send my 485 receipt notice ? Still I have not received it ? do I need to send copy of receipt notice for EAD renewal. PLease post your comments. I am worried about the time frame. How many days it is taking to get the EAD renewal...?

I have already applied for Extension..

My RD is 05/17 and EB2. Check my Info on Rupnet.com/immigration

If you are applying at local INS office then it is One Day processing.
If you are applyinng at INS Nebraska Service Center then you need to apply 3-4 months before.

Hello:

Boy Ohio what u have done ? did u go to local INS office or applied to Nebraska ? where did u get signature card. I don\'t see in internet when I down load the form ?
 
APplied at Nebraska..

Lawyer has sent me the signature cards (for me and for my wife).. I just signed it and sent it back.. I don\'t know where you can get this on the Internet..
 
Get Signature Cards by

ordering them from INS. You can either call INS (an 800#) or you can fill their online form for ordering forms by mail. Go to www.ins.gov and follow the links to ordering forms by mail. I ordered my I-765 forms thru INS website. The package INS sends you would contain the signature card. It takes 2-3 weeks for INS to sent the forms.

Alternatively go to your local INS office, and meet an IIO for a card - you would have to spend half-a-day waiting to meet an IIO.
 
EAD Renewal at local INS

In the form I-765 it says "If your response to question 16[Eligibility Categories] is (c)(9) (means I-485 Application for Permanent Residence, is pending), file your application at the same local INS office or Service Center where you submitted your adjustment application".

Is this means, that I should renew my EAD only at NSC as my I-485 is pending and not at local INS?

Yes. apply to NSC in your case. If NSC doesn\'t get back to you in 90 days, then you can go to your local INS office to get an interim card.

Is it still taking more than 90 days to get EAD renewal from NSC. I am still waiting for 485 receipt notice from my previous attorney ?

Any one has experience of obtaining Receit notice from your previous attorney ? I send letter requesting to send our receipt notices. No response. I don\'t know what to do ?
 
RD 13th APR and EAD exp on 10-july-2002

I spoke to the IIO and he said that they sent an RFE (AVM says, sent on 13th April - guess they are working on saturdays too huh!!). Anyways, when I asked the IIO, if I should renew my EAD, he suggested me to wait till May end and then renew if I dont get my approval by that time. He also told me that my approval depends on how fast I respond to the RFE.

I checked with my lawyer and he said that is a good advice that I got from the IIO and he would second that idea.

Maybe you should also consult your lawyer before you renew it.
