I haven't submitted any paperwork whatsoever as I was understandably waiting for my case number to hit/ be close enough to confidently do so. Since all are current, does that mean everyone has a chance and it is first come first serve? Can I still send in paperwork to have a chance or is it too late? If current means regardless of case number everyone has a chance I'll go for it, given you didn't already have to have paperwork sent in.

then would the chances of maintaining the current be high? On the other hand, if a person lives in a country whose embassy had few elected members (20) and is also an embassy with little influx of people, could it have a "benefit"?

in a timing sense yes, likely you would get your visa a bit faster than at a busy embassy.

Hey everyone, quick question.. I think there is some technical issue that's preventing me from checking my selection status..

I put in the assigned confirmation number but it keeps coming up as an invalid number.. I double and triple checked it to make sure I didn't make any mistakes while entering it.

Is this error coming because the number starts with 2021 instead of 2020?

You can't check lottery results for DV-2021 until 06th June.
