Got emails from USCIS this morning saying both my wife's and my cases have been approved. Checked online and confirmed the same. Appropriate news on July 4th weekend, got more independence. 
Feeling pretty pleased after a wait of 25 months and a slew of renewal applications and not to forget an interim EAD. 
Details:
PD Aug 2000 (EB2/India/Virginia)
140 approval Feb 2002
485 Filed May 15,2002
485 ND May 19,2002
First FP Aug 2002
Second FP Dec 2003
Got 3 EAD's
Travelled Twice on Parole (No issues)
RFE for medical (did the full medical again) 6 May 2004
RFE response sent 27 May 2004
3rd EAD approval June 21 2004 (Got interim EAD on June 18 2004)
485 Approval June 30 2004
Moved to a new place (coincidence) June 30 2004 (Filed AR-11 and called USCIS to update info)
