maximum Postponement

After the priority date becomes current, and I get a Packet from the Mumbai counsulate, can I postpone the interview and the visa process for a year or two without loosing my priority date? I need to do this for family reasons.

i think you can wait for upto 1 yr before sending your P3.. After that you risk losing the entire case.
