Can somebody tell me if MD from US is included in the 20K reserved for Masters and higher degrees from US. I have MBBS from India, did residency in Medicine leading to MD and fellowship in subspecialty. I am at a University on H-1B and I want to change employer- basically want to go from cap exempt to cap. There is no masters degree in Medicine as far as I know.
Thanks

MD is a doctorate /Professional degree if you earn it from US University after doing 4 Years BS degree. Or 6 yrs BA/MD degree.

Since you have done only your residency and fellow ship (Certificate) and got your license to practise, you may be eligible to apply in 20,000 quota.

Going through an attorney will helpful inyour case, because lot of evidence and write up is needed to substantiate your claims.
