Massive LUD on NSC cases

The LUD change may mean something

Today my spouse called USCIS and was told our I485 cases were pulled out and assigned to an officer on Aug 18 when we got first LUD change for I485 cases after over 2 years. The cases are under review. Hope this can cheer some people up.

Dear gc_nov_2003,

Did your wife ask about the status of the case or what was the LUD for? Or she initiated an inquiry?
Mine and my family cases also had LUDs on Sep 2. When I called USCIS number and was listening automatic status, the system said that customer representative have exactly the same info and asked not to call if 30 days have not passed since the day the case is out of processing dates. But, I'm going to call again and trying to decide what to ask about.
Would appreciate if you could share what your wife asked about....

My spouse called 3 times recently. The first 2 times, he talked to representative regarding the status not in sutomatic system and was told they will send a request for status. 1 week later, our status were in the 800 automatic system. He then called USCIS again and tried to talk to an officer(I assume), the officer told him to hang on a second and he/she will check, then he/she told him our cases were assigned to an officer on Aug 18. He didn't ask anything more. So nos we are patiently waitting for it. Hopefully it will be adjudicated in Sept.
 
They told him that so he would stop calling and leave them alone. 3 times! Have him call again: this will make them approve the case already.

You are kind of rude. But anyway you are gorgiven. USCIS has help desk and representatives to answer phones regarding case status. Msot people call and make an inquiry. Why can we? Don't be too mean to people.
 
New LUD wave?

I noticed that both me and my spouse had LUD on Friday (9/15) and today (9/18). Given that today's LUD happened before 6:00 am I am guessing it is an automatic thing. Is NSC scanning the cases again?
