Quick question on Maryland SWA.

My lawyer submitted Prevailing Wage Determination Request to Maryland SWA in October and since then the lawyer has not heard anything on this. Does it usually take this long??

Maryland SWA has a recording that they are processing requests submitted in the first week of October and they have this message on since a month.

My lawyer wants to submit it PWD request to Maryland SWA again and wait. I feel I am loosing precious time.

Not sure what's going on?? Can anyone help.

Maryland has online PWD tracking system try there http://test.careernet.state.md.us/pw/
 
I guess the reason that it was delayed is you requested too late in 2005 because PWD is only valid for 3 months or the end of the year determined by SWA. So no matter what, it is meaningless for you to get it anyway.

The new PWD should be published on 01/09/2006, so I think you should send another request for 2006 PWD. Just my 2 cents.

I did hear from our lawyer that the MD SWA is updating their databases on the 9th and I hope the SWA responds to our request for the PWD soon.

Has anyone actually got a PWD in a week/month? I have never seen a posting on the internet for Maryland SWA PWD request, response time!
