Marrying a Canadian, How do I work?

Okay, this may be a little complex, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

My fiancee and I are planning a move to her hometown of Montreal. We both currently live in Los Angeles, she has lived here for two years and I am a U.S. citizen, born and raised here.

She is an American and Canadian citizen (born in Montreal, parents were both) and has both her American and Canadian passport.

I am aware that to become a citizen you must go through the standard process, married or not, (unless I am mistaken, as I've heard tales of sponsorship and the like)

My other concern is obtaining work in Canada. If I marry her and move to Montreal, will I be able to work? I am also curious as to what I would be eligible for before becoming a citizen, (CSST, disability, etc.) as my legs are partially disabled. (Or is it "I am partially disable in my legs"? Never mind.)

Any help is immensely appreciated. Thank you! Merci!

You and your fiancee' can marry in the US and then she can sponsor you from the US itself. By going this route, you will enter Canada with an immigrant visa.
