Hi, everyone, my friend got his green card recently through DV, and he married with a US citizen last week. I am wondering if he can apply naturalization after 3 years or 5 years? anything need to be done?
after 3 years of marriage, based on marriage, or after 4 years and 9 months of GC, not based on marriage. It is possible also to submit both applications in parallel. However, once you are naturalized, the other application is forfeited.
