PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi, I'm married to my husband for almost two years .He is a USC and I'm not.We have been together since I left college and at that time I was on OPT(provisional work permit for college graduates) That ended but since my visitors visa had expired I did not want to chance leaving the US and not being able to return to be with him.I have not worked illegally as he has provided for us, but we finally saved enough to submit the paper work. Two questions:

Will there be ramifications for me being here out of status for a couple months now that we are ready to file?

And also what forms do we need to send in. And do I need to do a medical?

See the thread at the top of this forum "How to Apply for a Green Card - Do it Yourself". And download the instructions for the various forms from USCIS; each one describes its own requirement (or lack thereof) for pictures. I-765 and I-131 require pictures, but they are optional forms which are not needed if you're not going to travel or work before obtaining the green card (and given your out of status issue, it's better if you don't travel, so you could omit the I-131).

And because you have almost completed 2 years of marriage, you might want to wait until you've completed the full 2 years before you apply, to ensure that you will get a 10-year unconditional green card instead of a 2-year conditional card.

I know this post its from 2009... But it falls into my situation and I have a question

(This is my case)
On the list of forms she needed above, does't show I-864... Why is that? Thanks in advance.
