Married before Interview??

Hi everybody:

I have a couple of question, I hope someone can help me, I am engaged and I have seen that my current number is May, in fact the last week of May is interview too, but I don`t know what to do I called KKC del recommend me be married when I go to the interview and my embassy in my country told me the same thing in order to include to my husband to my case, but could be my visa reject?? what will happen with him if I get the visa??
Other questions is, is always necessary fill in the Affidavit of Support?? I don`t have relatives in US or my count banking is enough for replace the I-134 format??

Your visa can be rejected only if they believe your marriage is not genuine. If your relationship and future marriage is genuine then you have nothing to worry about. If KCC and your Embassy advised you to do just that then follow their advice.

I also married BEFORE the interview, it is the only quick way to allow your partner to benefit from the DV Lottery. Otherwise it can take 5-6 years.

If you have a solid financial history the I-134 is not necessary.

My marriage is genuine, we won`t formalized yet, because we work together, but I see is necessary in this case, about "...will happen with him" meant if I get the visa and my partner doesn`t what tramit or procedure will be necessry to do and how long will take? But you have told 5-6 years.
One more questiion, when you say that an Affidavit of support is not necessry if we have a " solid financial history" what does it mean or how many money do you think iis necessary to have in a count banking??

If your relationship and future marriage is genuine then you have nothing to worry about.

there have been cases when people in genuine relationships got a forever ban on ever entering the US on a suspicion of lying to the consul (to get immigration benefits). The wife was pregnant in one of the relationships. So, rejections do happen. If they reject you for this reason, you both will not get a visa, and you both will be banned from the US forever.

If you choose to go alone and get a visa by yourself, your husband will be able to join you in about 6 years.

You should show about $10,000 in either assets, or money at the bank. Sometimes none of the financial stuff is needed, if your English is fine and you have good education/profession.
