You better get married before getting the green card, so you can take her with you. Otherwise it's a long process...
1. Get married as soon as possible.
2. Notify KCC about the change.
3. Fill out new forms and send to KCC with a copy of your marriage certificate along with a letter about the change.

Read this thread: http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=215048.

Get married BEFORE your interview otherwise it will take 5-6 years before your partner can join you. And yes, make sure KCC knows about it, email them and they'll give you instructions on how to proceed. I got married after sending the forms back to KCC. I emailed them and they asked me to download the forms for my husband and with them to send the marriage and his birth certificate.

Good luck

Why the hell do you not want to marry before immigrant visa ?
if you did not get married, only way your wife can come to the US is with H1 or L1 and she must go on her own for status maintainace.

Now or after 5 years.

Hish,

You have 2 options:
You get married now and inform KCC of your marriage. Process the DV visa together.

Or you process your DV, get green card and wait another 5 years to get married.

That is because it is very difficult to bring your wife unless you are a citizen and it takes 5 years for a green card holder to become citizen.

The most important thing about greencard is it allows you to work legally in US. You don't get that benefit with non-immigrant visas (except for work sponsored visa)
