If you are married to a citizen , and have a green card for three years can you apply for citizenship?

Does it matter how long your are married ? i.e. if you have the green card for three years and get married to a citizen can you immediately apply for citizenship. I presume so ..but no harm in posting.

If you have a Green Card for 5 years with or without marriage to a USC - > apply

If you have a Green Card(dont matter how u got it) atleast 3 years with marriage to a USC(married atleast 3 years) - > apply

If you have a Green Card and got married within the last 3 years, wait atleast till 90 days before ur 3rd marriage anniv -> wait

You cannot apply as soon as u get married to a USC

Is this a valid scenario:

- USC applies GC for Spouse
- Spouse gets conditional GC
- Apply to get non-conditional GC after two year period ends
- Can the spouse apply for USC, three years from getting the initial conditional GC?

Thanks.
