I realize we need the marriage certificate to file the GC for father (for a USC).
What should we do when the parents marriage is NOT registered in India?
Would an affidavit do - or we need to also get a written statement from Indian authorities about not finding a marriage record?
We have been trying to get a non-availability certificate from India (Andhra Pradesh) with no luck for a couple of months. Does anybody has luck getting such a certificate?
If anybody has such a certificate would greatly appreciate if you can share an (anonymized) copy.
Appreciate any help/advice and how to go about this.
