Marriage Certificate for my friend

she has marriage certificate from the church, did anyone apply with the marriage certificate from the church. she doesn\'t have the marriage certificate from the registrar office. Is it going to cause any problem
when she files I-485. she is going to file I-485 soon, please help ASAP.
she is working on H1B and primary applicant for the I-485.

 Any help is appreciated.
 
Marriage certificate....

I took Registrar certificate apart from the certificate from church. We had an interview recently due to my FP problem and I gave church certificate to INS officer when he asked for the marraige certificate. He was happy with that, never asked for any other certificate. Hope this will help you.

INS accepts the marriage certificate issued by the church.So she is fine with that.

Hi,

I have a marriage certificate from church in India. i don't have one from civil authorities. I am planning to give a copy of church marriage certificate(in English) for I-485. But do i need to attest or notarize it?

any help would be appreciated
