Marriage Certificate and address

Sometime marriage certificate in foreign country has addresses of both spouses. Should a naturalized US citizen provide his or her USA address in marriage certificate (in foreign country)? Does it matter if US citizen provide foreign country address in marriage certificate? As the US citizen came from that country, he or she still has family home in foreign country.
