One of my cousin sisters is on F1 visa doig her MS. We are working on an allaince with a groom who has a GC. Could any of you please advise if it has got any complications in getting her a GC? As she has the valid F1 Visa, I atleast dont think her entry into US will be a problem. Any help appreciated.

Siince she is already in the US, I do not believe there will be any problem although there will be some documentation issues to be taken care of.
By the way, what is a cousin sister?

she is on her own till her husband becomes a citizen. she has to keep on studying and maintain her f1 status or get an employer to sponsor her h1 else she has to return home. if she stays in the US without a valid visa, she may not be allowed to get green card even after the groom becomes a citizen.

Because s/he already has a visa! The problem usually is that permanent residents have a long waiting period before they can obtain visas for their spouses and children. They will also normally be denied visitors' visas by consular posts as they are unlikely to be able to prove that they do not have immigrant intent. However, if you are already in the country with a valid visa, it is simply a matter of maintaining status, one way or other, till your spouse is able to obtain citizenship. Even if a person in that situation is unable to maintain his/her status, it is very remote that they will be deported or they will be denied immigration benefits when the turn comes. The only constraint is that, if s/he fails to maintain proper status, s/he may not be able to travel outside the country and come back freely till she is able to obtain her green card.
